The Royal Dragonfly Book Award contest honors excellence in all types of literature and book marketing, recognizing creativity and hard work for a comprehensive list of genres in 70 categories. Contest winners garner instant credibility, attention from the media, and an opportunity to increase book sales.

Contest entries accepted in 3 formats, as printed book, audiobook, or ebook.

Instructions: The quantity indicates the number of categories entering for one book.
If submitting more than one book, you must complete the form for each book, entering the quantity ofcategories being entered for each book. Submission fee is per category.

Example: entering 1 book, with 3 different categories:

choose your 3 categories for that one book
agree to terms and conditions
e-sign and date your entry
click add to cart

If you are submitting another book, repeat the process above.

You will receive a confirmation email once we receive your entry.

Email one (1) copy of each audiobook for each category in which it is entered. Along with the audiobook, attach one (1) copy of the email confirmation per title for each category in which the ebook is entered. You may also upload your audiobook file to a google drive and email the secure link.

EARLY BIRD PRICING!

BOOKS: $70 per category for submissions completed on or before August 1, 2025.
After August 1, 2025, the fee is $75 per category.

AUDIOBOOKS: $70 per category for submissions completed on or before August 1, 2025.
After August 1, 2025, the fee is $75 per category.
EBOOKS: $65 per category for submissions completed on or before August 1, 2025.
After August 1, 2025, the fee is $70 per category.

All Submissions:

Please complete the form on the next screen in its entirety. No materials will be returned. To be eligible, submissions must be postmarked October 3, 2025 or earlier. Submissions postmarked after that date will not be considered for an award and books will not be returned; however, your entry fee will be refunded.

Not every book entered will win an award. To be eligible to win an award, a book must earn a minimum score of 55 out of 80 judge’s points, even if it is the ONLY entry in a category.

For Printed Books: Mail one (1) copy of each book for each category in which it is entered. Along with the books, send one (1) printed copy of the email confirmation per title for each category in which the book is entered. All entries may be sent in the same envelope.
