Meet our Little Monsters Team …

Zachary Simpson, Director

Zachary (ZR) Simpson has been a professional performer for nearly a decade and has seen many different aspects of the music and entertainment industries. His roles as a singer, dancer and actor led him to a passion for telling his own stories through writing and arranging his own music. He successfully pursued a degree in Music Composition for Film, TV and Video Games from the prestigious Berklee College of Music while working full-time at Walt Disney World. He has used his education and talents for projects with theatrical productions, short films, podcasts and Ed Through Story.

We are thrilled to introduce our Little Monsters Narrators to you!

Learn more about our very talented Narrators …

  • Jeremiah Acevedo is a 9 year old boy from Santa Maria, California who brings a lot of passion to his hobbies and interests.  He is an athlete, an actor, and a singer.  His schedule stays pretty busy with extracurricular activities including soccer, karate, football, snowboarding, and surfing.  Jeremiah trains his vocals through weekly singing lessons and has weekly acting class as well.  He has had singing performances throughout Santa Barbara county where he had the opportunity to sing at the Santa Barbara County Fair.  Jeremiah has booked various roles in short films and commercials which have included commercials for The Midnight Mission organization in Los Angeles to help increase awareness for homelessness and a national commercial for the K12 online schooling program in an advertisement for their services.  Jeremiah enjoys spending time traveling with his family and trying different foods in the different regions they visit.  He also loves spending time with his friends whenever he has free time in his schedule.  Jeremiah’s favorite book is Wings of Fire because he finds the stories thrilling and full of adventure.  He really enjoys how the animations bring the story to life with their pictures of all the dragons!

  • I am Stewart Joiner Davis from Reno, Nevada. I love singing and dancing in musical theater, and I was honored to win the Hammerstein International Youth Solo Contest last year! My favorite stage roles have been Les in Newsies, and Oliver. I love performing characters in voiceovers, and my favorites so far have been as a Basque Boy, a New York Newsie, and a Dickensian Chimney Sweep. I work hard in school and have straight A’s in the Honors Program. In my free time, I hang out with my older sister and cat Katy, play soccer with coach dad, race on a swim team, explore the outdoors with Boy Scouts, mountain bike, wakeboard, and play guitar and percussion. My favorite books are the Wings of Fire series and anything with Clifford the Big Red Dog!

  • Hi, I'm Immy and I'm 13 and live near London in the UK. I have 5 years profession VO experience and you will normally finding me voicing age 8 to 11 in cute UK and US animations. I have a sweet, high energy voice and I'm told I bring a bit of magic to a project.

My voice can be heard on Sky Kids, Netflix and my favorite job of all is voicing a hyperactive frog for Nickelodeon's Anna and Friends TV series.  As well as animations, I have voiced and sung in educational projects, tour guides, adverts including LEGO, Coolsoft, The Children's Society and Condor Ferries and audio books in both my UK and US accent.

I have always loved reading and my favorite book that I now love sharing with my little nephew has to be Stick Man by Julia Donaldson.

  • Heidi Immler is a vibrant 9-year-old who radiates joy and enthusiasm. With a rich acting career that began at age 4, Heidi has gained experience in feature films, short films and commercials. Notably, she portrayed "Lori" in the film No Vacancy, alongside Sean Young, Dean Cain, and T.C. Stallings. Heidi also shines in musical theatre, playing leading roles such as Alice in Disney's Alice in Wonderland and as Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical. In addition to her on-camera work, Heidi is a professional young voiceover artist and actively trains in aerial silks, singing, and dance. Echoing the spirit of her namesake from Johanna Spyri's Heidi, she brings sunshine to everyone she meets and cherishes this beloved Swiss story.

  • My name is May Webster, I am fourteen years old and live in London with my parents, younger sister and two cats. I am currently studying music at Trinity College of Music. I play the recorder, clarinet and piano. I started voice acting around the age of eleven, and have mostly been experimenting with different monologues and scripts to find which style suits me best. This is my first official acting job, which I am very excited about! I love narration, as I enjoy exploring different characters and voices. I hope to have a career in voice acting and narration, and I am so grateful to be starting it with Story Monsters. I think my favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird. The characters and the setting create a really interesting reading experience. It's a really absorbing book that makes you think, and one I have read multiple times and would definitely recommend!
